Nature of the offer: Goods purchased from METRO are protected from the moment the customer passes through the checkout and on the way back to their place of work (in case of theft or breakage). Up to €5,000 (excl. VAT) of goods per customer per year.
Excess of €26 incl. VAT per claim.
Limit of 3 hours from the issue of the purchase invoice (private stops excluded)
Attention: the protection ends as soon as you arrive in your establishment
Cases covered: theft of your goods by break-in or breakage of your goods during the journey / theft of your goods when your vehicle is stolen
Procedure to follow in the event of a claim :
- explanatory letter concerning the course of the accident
- invoice for goods rendered unusable after the accident
- in the event of a car theft or accident, the official report
